Energy Project RFP Alert - US MT - State Of Montana RFQ - Upgrade Scott Hart Hvac Systems

Alert Type: RFQ Description: The State of Montana is soliciting for Qualifications submittals from interested parties to prequalify to bid on a General Contractor/Contract Manager contract for construction services: Upgrade Scott Hart HVAC Systems Department of Administration A/E #2012-30-04 A pre-RFQ submittal walk-through is scheduled for March 20, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the main entrance of the 1956 portion of the Scott Hart Building. Qualfications submittals will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at the Architecture & Engineering Division, Room 33 of the Metcalf Building, in the Capitol Complex. Mailing address is 1520 E Sixth Ave., P.O. Box 200103, Rm 33, Helena MT 59620-0103. Phase 1 of the Project consists of installing a variable refrigerant volume system and upgrade of the heating plant in the 1956 portion of the Scott Hart Building. The construction budget is approximately $1.6 million for Phase 1 and $1.3 million for Phase 2 (if funded by the 63rd Legislature). Performance and Payment bonds, minimum 50% Montana resident labor, and compliance with State Prevailing Wage Rates (Building) will be required at the time of award of the GC/CM contract. Interested parties shall obtain and comply with the RFQ document that describes the project, schedule, information to be submitted, and criteria that will be used to determine whether or not interested parties are prequalified to bid for the GC/CM contract.
