Sealed proposals for Tyler Consolidated Middle / High School HVAC Renovations will be received by the Tyler County Board of Education, at 1993 Silver Knight Drive, Sistersville, WV 26175 until 1:30 PM local time on December 11, 2012, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. After opening, the bids will be compared as to quality, thoroughness, and cost by the Owner and McKinley & Associates, Inc. A single lump sum bid is being solicited for all the Work on the Project. The work includes the removal and replacement of the building's chilled water piping insulation, the addition of a split system air conditioning unit, and the replacement of two (2) fan coil units. Alternates include the removal and replacement of four ((4) heating air handling units with three (3) new air conditioning and heating air handling units and associated remote condensing units. Copies of the Bidding Documents will be available on or after November 9, 2012 at the office of the Architect, McKinley & Associates at the address noted below, upon payment of a deposit of $75.00 per set. The deposit will be refunded if drawings and specifications are returned in good condition within 10 days following receipt of bids. A Mandatory Pre Bid Meeting will be held at the project site, 1993 Silver Knight Drive, Sistersville, WV 26175 on November 28, 2012, at 3:30 PM local time, for the purpose of familiarizing Bidders with bidding requirements and to answer questions regarding the Bidding Documents.
