Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent for Mercer County Community College on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 3:00 PM prevailing time in Room AD125, Administration Building, Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, New Jersey 08550 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter for: A SINGLE OVERALL CONTRACT FOR: HVAC UPGRADES AT THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION (PE) BUILDING FOR THE MERCER COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE WEST WINDSOR CAMPUS 1200 OLD TRENTON ROAD WEST WINDSOR, NEW JERSEY 08550 Neither the Mercer County Community College, nor the Architect will assume any responsibility for Bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. Bidding and Contract Requirements, Bid Forms, Specifications and Contract Drawings and other Contract Documents may be examined during normal office hours at Architect's Office, 120 Sanhican Drive, Trenton, New Jersey, 08618. Project Bidding Schedule: Project Advertised for Bid Friday, January 13, 2012 Pre-Bid Meeting Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM Last Day for RFI Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM Issuance of Addendum (if required) Monday, January 30, 2012 Bid Submission Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 3:00 PM Drawings and Project Manuals will be available at the Architect's Office and will be loaned to Bidders upon deposit of One Hundred Forty ($140.00) Dollars and can be obtained at the office of the Architect. A separate non-refundable cost of Twenty Five ($25.00) Dollars per set will be charged for mailing and handling Contract Documents to Contractors if requested. A separate non-refundable handling charge of Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars per set will be charged for sending Contract Documents via Federal Express as prearranged and paid for by the Bidder. A deposit check for Bidding Documents (and separate non-refundable checks for mailing and/or handling, when requested) shall be made payable to the "Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc." Any Bidders should contact the Architect's Office at (609) 695-7400 to confirm details of availability of Contract Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents. Please Note: Deposits will only be refunded if the bidding documents are returned in whole, bound, and in good condition and, (1) they are returned ten (10) days prior to the bid due date, or (2) returned within ten (10) after the opening of bids, by a Contractor submitting a bonafide bid. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time and place set forth above. No bids will be received after that time unless the contract is re-advertised for bids. Bidders are responsible for seeing that their bids arrive at the Purchasing Office at the address specified above before the opening date and time. Bids delivered in person or by express service should be delivered directly to the Purchasing Office. Bidders are subject to the provisions of the County College Contracts Laws N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.5 governing bidding requirements.
