Interested parties are encouraged to review plans and specs and become familiar with the project prior to the prebid meeting.
Mandatory pre-bid conference and site inspection to be held on Tuesday January 17 at 10:00 AM at East Hall **
Late arrivals (10 minutes or more) will not be allowed to participate in the bid process.
DAS Prequalification for General Building Construction Group A OR Construction Manager at Risk (Group “A”) OR
HVAC is required. Bidders are required to include their Update Bid Statement and their Contractor Prequalification
Certificate with their bid response. Failure to include both shall result in bid disqualification.
Bidders are required to hold their prices for 90 (ninety) days from Bid Due Date
Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply for this project. Prevailing Wages available at www.ccsu.edu/page.cfm?p=778
Small Business Set Aside Requirements for this project – Minimum 25% of total lump sum to certified SBEs with at least
one quarter (¼) of THAT amount to certified MBEs
10% Bid Bond must accompany bid proposal or proposal shall be disqualified. Performance, Labor and Material Bonds
and current Certificate of Insurance naming CCSU as additionally insured will be required from awarded contractor.

sealed bid envelope marked: Sealed Bid # E930048 Due by 3:00 PM on January 31, 2012*
For all State contracts as defined in P.A. 07-1 having a value in a calendar year of $50,000 or more or combination or series
of such agreements or contracts having a value of $100,000 or more, the authorized signatory to this Agreement expressly
acknowledges receipt of the State Election Enforcements Commission’s notice advising state contractors of state campaign
contribution and solicitation prohibitions, and will inform its principals of the contents of the notice.
