Energy Project RFP Alert - US NJ - Proceed, Inc Bid - Purchase And Install A High Efficiency Heating And Domestic Hot Water System

Proceed, Inc. a non-profit organization that administers the State's Weatherization Program in Union County desires to receive sealed bids to purchase and install a high efficiency heating and domestic hot water system in two eleven story Senior Citizen Apartment buildings owned by Linden Housin Authority. The project will include dismantling and proper disposition of existing equipment in both buildings and the purchase and installation of eight (8) Peerless PF1000 gas fired boilers and eight (8) Peerless PP120 tanks(four in each building) as well as stainless steel venting, copper and steel piping with associated circulator pumps, control systems and electrical work. Insulation (including newly installed pipes) and masonry work is part of this retrofit when required. Sealed bids outside envelope must be marked "Linden/Dill Avenue" and received by Proceed, Inc. located at 120 West 7th Street, Suite 105, Plainfield, NJ 07060 no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2011 and will immediately be opened and read aloud. Room to be used for public opening of sealed bids can be obtained in reception area. Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the community room located within the John T. Gregorio Towers at 1425 Dill Avenue, Linden, The instructions to Bidders, Bid Form and other Contract Documents will be on file during the business day starting Monday, December 12, 2011 to December 22, 2011 from 8:30 AM to Noon and from 1:30 P.M. To 3:30 PM at proceed's office located at 120 West 7th Street, Suite 105, Plainfield, NJ 07060 at the reception desk ground floor) (908) 351-7727. The Bid Packet fee is $100.00 - check to me made out to Proceed, Inc. Cash not accepted. Business card with company's name, phone, fax number and email address must be presented and left with the receptionist. All bid packets obtained as copies from other sources will be invalidated. Most certifications and other forms required to be submitted by bidder will be found in the Bid Packet. Those that are not are clearly delineated on the Bid Document Submission checklist. A Bid Bond (Surety) of 10% secured by a surety company acceptable to the U.S. Government and authorized to do business in New Jersey is required with the bid submission. The successful bidder will also be required to produce 100% Payment and Performance Bond written by a T-listed surety prior to Proceed's issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Proceed, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in the bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of Proceed, Inc.
