RFP Description:
The Project will involve the upgrading of the existing lighting fixtures and the recycling of
all removed fixture fittings, parts and fluorescent tubes. Only licensed electricians
holding at least a Class B Contractors License will eligible for bidding the work.
A pre-bid site meeting will be held on February 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the County
Administrative Offices Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, VA. This meeting is
not mandatory but is encouraged. No other escorted site visits will be conducted by the
County. Bidders may visit the site at other times upon obtaining permission of the
County Building Official.
Sealed bids will be accepted until 10:00am , February 29, 2012 with a contract awarded
by March 12, 2010. The bid documents can be picked up and any questions answered
at the Building Official’s office, 150 south Main Street, Lexington Monday through Friday
