In accordance with Title 14-22-101 of the Arkansas Code, notice hereby given that the Sebastian
County Judge will receive sealed proposals at the Purchasing Department, 35 South 6
thSt, Room 106, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901, until 2:00 p.m. on the 14
th day of September, 2012 at which time
proposals will be publicly opened and read. Sealed proposals for the HVAC equipment, installation
and related work at the Sebastian County Detention Center, 801 South A, Fort Smith, Arkansas
Bidder shall fill out and submit both the Specification Bid Form and the Sebastian County Request
for Proposal Form.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the
Adult Detention Center, 801 South A Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Please contact Randy Cothran,

DESCRIPTION
The project consists of the removal and disposal of existing HVAC equipment, installation of two
new HVAC Rooftop units, and related work. Mechanical systems are roof-top gas fired packaged
