10:00 a.m. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud on the day and hour specified above.
Bids must be in a sealed envelope plainly marked:

Each bid shall be accompanied by:
1. Bid Sheet
2. Insurance Procedure
3. Affirmative Action Compliance Affidavit
4. Bid Bond*
5. AIA Document A305 – Contractor’s Qualification Statement ***
6. Nonresident Contractors ***
*A Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to the Town of
Greenwich. A certified check will not be acceptable to the Town of Greenwich. The successful
apparent low-bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount equal to the
contract award. A PAYMENT and PERFORMANCE BOND WILL BE REQUIRED on
the total estimated cost of labor and materials under the contract.
**Bidders are required to complete, and include as part of their Bid proposal “Contractor’s
Qualification Questionnaire” with any Base Bid amount of one hundred thousand dollars
($100,000) and above. AIA Document A305 can be found at the end of this specification.
***Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes § 12-430(7), as amended by Public Act No. 03-147
(An Act Concerning Sales Tax Bond Requirements for Nonresident Contractors) and Public Act
No. 03-6 (An Act Concerning General Budget and Revenue Implementation), Section 76, a
nonresident contractor shall furnish the Department of Revenue Services (DRS) a guarantee Bond
