THE STANDARD HEATING AND AIRCONDITION APPLIANCE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PROGRAM (HARRP) and STANDARD WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM Twin Rivers Opportunities, Inc is presently accepting written bids from contractors who are interested in being in the Bid Pool for HARRP/Standard Weatherization Program. Twin Rivers Opportunities Inc. serves the counties of Pamlico, Jones and Craven. Contractors need to have experience in the following areas: Electrical service upgrades both for homes and HVAC systems and other minor repairs approved by the agency on a case by case basis. Contractors are required to have workman's compensation, liability insurance and a performance bond or escrow account. Contractors must be licensed or certified through the State of NC to perform the work mentioned. All contractors and their employees must have CPR and First Aid Certification. Contractors are required to have what is specified in the subcontractor agreement. Contractors are invited to stop by our agency at 318 Craven Street in New Bern, NC to request a bid package. Dead line for submission of all bid proposals will be 12:00 (Noon) June 18, 2012. Mark all envelops SEALED BID. TRO reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
