Energy Project RFP Alert - US OR - The City Of Woodburn Bid - Plant Hvac Upgrade

Description:
The City of Woodburn Wastewater Treatment Plant HVAC Upgrade Project consists of upgrading the HVAC system in the Lab Area of the Woodburn Wastewater Treatment Plant. The City of Woodburn will receive sealed bids in writing from qualified contractors until 3:00 pm, Thursday, October 25, 2012, at City Hall Annex, 190 Garfield St., Woodburn, OR 97071 for the City of Woodburn Wastewater Treatment HVAC Upgrade Project, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud to all in attendance. Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. All Bidders shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 279C.840, Oregon Revised Statutes. The First-Tier Subcontractor Form must be submitted in a separate envelope within two (2) business hours of the advertised bid closing date at the same location as the bid opening.
PRE BID CONFERENCE: A pre bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at City of Woodburn Wastewater Treatment Plant, Administration Building, 2815 Woodburn-Estacada Highway Northeast, Woodburn, OR 97071. All are welcome but the pre-bid meeting is primarily to benefit prospective bidders not previously familiar with the project. The pre bid conference is not mandatory.

It shall be understood and mutually agreed by and between the Contractor and Owner that the date of beginning and time for completion of the project are essential conditions of the contract and that the time for beginning and completion of the project shall be considered by the Owner in awarding the contract. The bidder shall state the proposed number of construction days on the Bid Form. Bidders must be pre-qualified in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon. Completed pre-qualification forms shall be mailed or delivered to the City of Woodburn at least 7-days prior to bid opening for Bidder to retain the right to protest the bid. Prequalification Forms are available in PDF format off the City website at www.woodburn-or.gov/publicwo rks/bidsrfps.aspx. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities in the bids, to reject any or all bids, and to accept only such bids as may be in the Owner's best interest.
