REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR FACILITY HEATING SYSTEM Retrofit STUDY RELEASE DATE: FEBRUARY 23, 2012 The Ketchikan Gateway Borough School District (KGBSD) is requesting Proposals from professional engineering consultants to perform a District-wide heating plant retrofit study for its eight (8) facilities and determine the most cost effective solution to provide heat for each building. A range of energy systems shall be evaluated. Heating system recommendations may differ depending on age of building, location, type, etc. To receive the Request for Proposals (RFP), contact Mike Williams, Maintenance Superintendent, KGBSD at Mike.Williams@kgbsd.org or 907.225.2416. There is no charge for this RFP. To be considered, proposers must register for the RFP by sending an email to Mike.Williams@kgbsd.org. The required email must include: contact, company name, address, telephone number and fax number. Proposal Submission Deadline: To be considered, a complete proposal package in the format requested must be received by the Maintenance Office, Ketchikan Gateway Borough School District, 333 Schoenbar Road, Ketchikan, Alaska 99901 by 2:00pm, local time on March 21, 2012.
