Notice is hereby given that the City of Forsyth, Monroe County, will receive sealed bids at the Forsyth City Clerk’s Office, 26 N. Jackson St, Forsyth, Georgia, 31029 until 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2012, for HVAC Installation of a newly renovated city park building. Bids will be publicly opened in the Forsyth City Hall annex, on Thursday, March 27, 2012, starting at 3:00 PM. Bid documents may be examined at the Wellington Building, 220 S. Kimball St, Forsyth, GA 31029, Alvin Randall, Forsyth, Georgia 31029, (478) 994-7623. Bid envelopes should be sealed and identified on the outside as "Kynette HVAC" and delivered by hand or mailed to: Forsyth City Clerk’s Office, 26 N. Jackson St., PO Box 1447, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. City of Forsyth reserves full freedom (in addition to the right to reject any and all bids) in awarding bids to consider all available factors including, but not limited to, price, reputation, financial responsibility, and experience. In addition, the bidder recognizes the right of the Owner to reject a bid if the bidder fails to furnish any required submittals on the date required by the bidding documents, or if the bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. Hence, the City of Forsyth may award bids to other than the lowest bidder if in the judgment of the City the interest of the City will be best served by award to another.
