Sealed proposals in duplicate for Irving Elementary School replacement of Boiler System in accordance with specifications to be distributed at the mandatory walk through at Irving School 9 Garden Place Derby Connecticut on Wednesday December 5th, 20012 at 4PM. will be received in duplicate by the City Of Derby, (IRVING BOILERS) 1 Elizabeth Street, Derby, Connecticut until 11am on Friday December 14, 2012 at which time said proposals will be publicly opened and read. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Bond with Surety satisfactory to the Corporation Counsel for the faithful performance of the contract. This is a prevailing wage project. City of Derby reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects in same, or to choose to make the sale other than strictly in accordance with price considerations, and/or to choose other than the highest bidder, if it be deemed in the best interest of the City of Derby. Under no circumstances will the City or Board of Education be responsible for the cost of preparing a bid or proposal.
