Sealed bid proposals will be received for the following contractual material and installation services as two separate bid proposals: INSTALLATION LABOR ONLY- LIGHTING UPGRADE AND MATERIAL ONLY- LIGHTING UPGRADE METROPOLITAN MAYORS CAUCUS BULK PURCHASING BID SOLICITATION ON BEHALF OF CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES IN CHICAGOLAND AREA CHICAGO, IL 60631 Said bid proposals will be received up to the hour of 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012, in the offices of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, 233 South Wacker, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606-6415. All sealed bid proposals will be publicly opened and read at 1:00 p.m. on the same day in the offices of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, 233 South Wacker, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60606-6415. Specifications and Bid Proposals for this lighting project are on file with the offices of 360 Energy Group, 8770 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Suite 1300, Chicago, IL 60631 and will be sent to interested bidders by e mail after 360 Energy Group receives notice of intent to bid from prospective bidders. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 in the offices of 360 Energy Group, 8770 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Suite 1300, Chicago, IL 60631 to address any questions which may develop during the course of the preparation of the bid proposal. All potential bidders are encouraged to attend this pre-bid conference to address any questions or concerns. Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided and are to include completion of all detailed specification sheets and required supporting documentation. Proof of qualifications must be submitted with bid proposal. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) made payable to the order of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus as a guarantee that, if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such check. All Contractors for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus reserves the right to determine the lowest qualified bidder, to waive irregularities, and to reject any or all bid proposals.
