Sealed bids for boiler and chiller replacement at Wallace Hall at West Virginia State University, will be received in the West Virginia State University Physical Facilities Conference Room #124 in the Harold McNeill Building, Institute, West Virginia, on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. e.s.t. at which time and place all complete bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Architect. Bidding Documents may be obtained upon request to: Silling Associates, Inc. 405 Capitol Street, Upper Atrium Charleston, WV 25301 304.346.0565 The project involves the boiler and chiller replacement at Wallace Hall at Institute, West Virginia. Qualified Prime Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect and a Bid Package will be emailed to them. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor's Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. An executed WV Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit must be included in the proposal. A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the West Virginia State University Physical Facilities Conference Room #124 in the Harold McNeill Building, Institute, West Virginia. All bidders must attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory for bid qualification. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days.
