The Central Greene School District Board of Education will receive sealed bids, appropriately identified, for the following project: INSTALLATION OF HIGH EFFICIENCY STEAM BOILER REPLACEMENT at THE FORMER EAST FRANKLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BUILDING 300 North Street, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania 15370 until 10:00 A.M., on THURSDAY, July 12, 2012, in the Business Office, 250 South Cumberland Street, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania 15370. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that date, place, and time. NO facsimile (faxed) bids will be accepted. Each bid shall be made upon the form provided by the School District and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in the amount of ten percent of the proposed contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn after bids are opened for the period of time stated on the bid form. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities in the bid. Bid Documents may be obtained from Central Greene School District, PO Box 472, 250 S. Cumberland St., Waynesburg, PA 15370. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., local prevailing time at the project site. However, bidders are encouraged to visit the project site prior to the mandatory pre-bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the overall scope of work. Bidders may visit the site on weekdays from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., provided advance request (24-hour notice) is made by calling the district representative listed in the bid documents to make such arrangements.
