This project is being solicited under the Air Force Straddle Bid Authority. Funds are not currently available for this project, and no award will be made until funds become available. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, either before or after the proposal closing date with no obligation to the offeror. FAR clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds will be incorporated into the solicitation.
This synopsis is for replacement of a HVAC, Fire Alarm, and Lights in Building 90220 on Hurlburt Field, FL. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment to perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work as shown on the drawings and in the specifications. The general work includes, but not limited to, replace HVAC equipment, upgrade fire alarm system, add mass notification, replace lighting and correct building envelope issues. This acquisition will be set aside for HUB-Zone offerors only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 with a size standard of $14M. This contract will be a "Performance Price Trade-Off" contract; award will be made based on the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101.
