Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), a department of the City of Los Angeles, seeks to enter into a Concession Agreement for LAWA-owned property adjacent to United States Air Force Plant 42 near the City of Palmdale for renewable energy development. The approximately 17,500-acre property (Property) will be made available for up to 30 years for potential renewable energy development (including the pre-development and entitlement/permitting period), or until any part of the Property is needed for airport expansion. This Property will be divided into two Sites and evaluated using two separate Requests for Proposal (RFP), one for approximately 890 acres (Site 1) and another for approximately 10,000 acres (Site 2).
