Description:
Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Renovate HVAC & Lighting Systems at Duke Field, Eglin AFB FL. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 and the size standard of $14M. This is an Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) set-aside, see attached WOSB Program Guide. This is a Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible EDWOSB sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency.
This project includes but is not limited to the following: furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials, and performing all operations required for renovation of the HVAC and Lighting Systems in Building 3105 at Duke Field, Eglin AFB, FL. In general, the work includes replacing approximately 12 ton chiller, air handler chilled water pumps, hot water pumps, hot water boiler and piping. The project consists of replacing ducts, terminal units, controls, providing new DDC control system, and replacing ceilings. Furthermore, the project includes replacing lighting with energy efficient lighting and coordinating fire detection locations with proposed systems furniture layout. Project also consists of replacing flooring, baseboards, gutters, and repairing and painting interior walls and awning. The estimated performance period is 210 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is located at Duke Field. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
