The work consists of a Boiler Replacement, associated piping, and associated electrical renovations. Bids will be received until 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in the office of the Town Clerk at 1101 Antelope Drive, Bairoil, Wyoming 82322, then publicly opened and read aloud. A Pre~bid conference will be held on Wednesday April 4, 2012, beginning at 4:00 PM at the Bairoil Community Center located at 101 Bluebell Drive, Bairoil, Wyoming 82322. It is highly recommended that all Mechanical Contractors interested in submitting a bid proposal for the project attend this meeting. Contractors are encouraged to visit the site to become familiar with the extent of the work. Suppliers are welcome but not required to attend the pre-bid conference. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from thc engineer of record, Daigle Structural Engineering at the following location: 235 S. David Street, Suite B, Casper, Wyoming 82601, (307)234-7375, after 10:00 AM on March 29, 2012. No deposit is required. Pursuant to Wyoming State Statutes 16-6-102 and 16-6-103, the contract will be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident's bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible non-resident bidder. Pursuant to Wyoming State Statutes 16-6-104 and 16-6-106, preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, equipment, machinery and provision produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state. Pursuant to the Enrolled Act No. 67 - 2011, the list of subcontractors who will be awarded each component of the work comprising the value of the Contract Price, identifying which subcontractors are a Wyoming resident subcontract, or non-resident subcontractor and further illustrating that not less than 70% of the work comprising the value of the Contract Price will be awarded to Wyoming Resident Subcontractors. The requirements of the clause may be waived in part upon a written determination as identified in Act. Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and informalities in the bidding or in any bid, reject any or all bids without further obligation and to accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Town of Bairoil. The Owner does not bind themselves in any way to accept the low bid.
