The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bangladesh is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for a five-year project entitled Catalyzing Clean Energy in Bangladesh (CCEB) to support energy sector development for energy security, economic growth, and climate change mitigation. Building on the work and achievements of the USAID/Bangladesh's Improved Capacity for Energy Access (ICEA) activity (2008-2011), CCEB will work with the BERC, GOB ministries and agencies, energy utilities, and energy end-users for strengthening regulatory climate, increasing energy efficiency and promoting clean energy development through technical assistance, capacity building, and incentive programs.
