KALAMAZOO PUBLIC SCHOOLS - will accept bids for remodeling at El Sol Elementary, Lincoln International Studies School and boiler replacement at Oakwood Elementary School. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 3:30 pm local time in the library at Lincoln International Studies School, 914 N. Burdick, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. A walk through of Lincoln will immediately follow the pre-bid meeting. A walk through of Oakwood, 3410 Laird, Kalamazoo, MI 49008, will be held on November 30, 2011 at 3:15 pm. A walk through of El Sol, 604 W. Vine Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49008, will be held at 4:00 pm on November 30, 2011. All proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of a relationship) that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Kalamazoo Public Schools or the Superintendent of the School District. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Sealed bids will be received until Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11:00 am local time, in the Office of Facilities Management, 600 W. Vine Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49008, where they will be opened publicly and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted.
