Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Harrisburg, Office of Purchasing, 10 North Second Street, Suite 302A, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 17101, until 3:00 P.M., FRIDAY-DECEMBER 23, 2011 at which time they will be publicly opened and read in Suite 304B of the same building immediately thereafter, for: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL #08-2011 – FOR THE DESIGN/BUILD OF A GAS FIRED HEATING SYSTEM FOR THE BROAD STREET MARKET There will be a mandatory site inspection held on Friday - December 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Broad Street Market, 1233 North Third Street, Harrisburg, PA. Bid security in the amount of ten percent of the total bid amount is required with each bid submitted in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, treasurer's check, an irrevocable letter of credit drawn on a bank acceptable to the City or a bid bond. Copies of the Project Documents, including specifications, may be seen at and obtained from the Office of Purchasing, 10 North Second Street, Suite 302A, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 17101, (717) 255-6472 or by visiting the City's website at www.harrisburgpa.gov . The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any bids or proposals. This project is subject the Davis Bacon Wage Rates.
