Sealed BIDS will be received by the City of Williston, Florida at the office of City Manager until 11:00 a.m. local time on December 22, 2011, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and taxes to complete the following work: Rooftop unit replacement at City Hall consists of replacing one (1) 5-ton heat pump and one (1) 2-ton heat pump. Split system replacement at City Hall consists of replacing one (1) 2-ton split system air conditioner with a 2-ton split system heat pump. Split system replacement at Police & Fire consists of replacing one (1) 2-ton, one (1) 2-1/2-ton, one (1) 3-ton, and one (1) 3-1/2-ton split system air conditioners with gas heat. The 2-ton unit will be up-sized to a 3-ton unit. Ductless split system installation at Police & Fire consists of installing one (1) 2-ton ductless split system to serve the existing server room. Split system replacement at the Library consists of replacing one (1) 1-1/2-ton, and two (2) 4-ton split system heat pumps. Bidders must have prior experience in HVAC installation in accordance with the requirements contained in the Instructions to Bidders to be considered. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: City Hall, 50 NW Main Street, Williston, Florida 32696, and AMEC Environment & Infrastructure, Inc. 404 SW 140th Terrace, Newberry, FL 32669-3000. Bidders are hereby informed this project is being funded by a Florida Energy and Climate Commission grant which requires the successful bidder to conform to and comply with certain standards which are included or referenced within the project specifications. These include, but are not limited to the federal wage and hour requirements and buy America provisions.
