Greater Middletown Economic Development Corporation (GMEDC) is soliciting proposals for Professional Services to develop front end specifications including Summary of Work for HVAC Improvements (design/build), structural engineering for the support of one new rooftop unit, and Construction Administration of the Contract for the Elks Building in Middletown, PA. The project is located at the intersection of Union and Emaus Streets in Middletown, PA. Anticipated construction will include HVAC demolition, repair, and/or new HVAC installations for the Theatre and tenant spaces of the building, and structural support for a new rooftop HVAC unit including associated roofing repairs. Funding (For Professional Services & Construction) Funding for both professional services and construction/repairs will be from a DCED Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $112,050. This RFP is limited to specific professional services as described herein and is expected to be a small portion of the total Grant amount. Anticipated Project Schedule ??
