All contractors wishing to submit bids for this work must submit a qualification statement form (in bid package) to
be considered. Proposals must be accompanied by bid security in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the
base bid. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, or other security instruments as allowed by law
each in the amount equal to 100% of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be
written by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia, have a “Best’s” rating of “A” or better,
appear on the current U.S. Treasury Department list of sureties that are acceptable on bonds for the federal
government (circular 570), and have recommended bonds limits equal to or in excess of those required for this
