The Mingo County Commission, 75 East 2nd Ave, Room 308, Williamson, Mingo County, West Virginia is seeking sealed bids for three (3) heating/cooling units at the Old Coalfield Cap Building, Alderson Street, Williamson, WV 25661. The successful bidder will provide all the following: 1-10 ton heating/cooling unit 1-7 ½ ton heating/cooling unit 1-5 ton heating/cooling unit Units are to be gas heating/cooling units. Units along with installation costs are to be included in bid. All interested parties must submit sealed bids to the Mingo County Commission no later than 4:00 pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Sealed bids must be hand delivered or mailed to Mingo County Commission, Attention: Tina Lockard, 75 East 2nd Ave, Room 308, Williamson, WV 25661. Sealed bids must be clearly marked "Heating/Cooling Units" on the outside. Sealed bids will be opened, read aloud, and awarded at a special session of the Mingo County Commission on November 14, 2012, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interested parties may call the Commission at 304-235-0349 to schedule an inspection of building where units are to be installed. The successful bidder will be required to submit a certified check or bank draft, payable to the Mingo County Commission, Par Value U.S. government bonds or satisfactory bid bond executed in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the bid. Bid bond shall be countersigned by a West Virginia agent. Prevailingwage, workers compensation, and any and all other state/federal guidelines apply. The Mingo County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities on the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 30 days of after the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder will enter into a contract agreeable to the Mingo County Commission.
