Sealed proposals will be received by the Southeast Delco School District, Educational Service Center, 1560 Delmar Drive, Folcroft, PA, 19032 until 10:00 AM on Monday, June 25, 2012 for furnishing all of the materials and performing all of the: BOILER REPLACEMENT AT SHARON HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 701 Coates Street Sharon Hill, PA 19079 The following contracts will be part of the project: Mechanical Construction Contract Electrical Construction Contract The proposals will be publicly opened at the date and time, herein above listed. Each bidder shall assume sole responsibility with respect to delivery of his bids. Each bid shall be submitted on the Form of Proposal furnished in the Project Manual and must be accompanied with a bank cashier or Treasurer's check, or bid bond, for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal, payable to the Southeast Delco School District. Each bidder shall submit with his bid, evidence of his experience, qualifications and financial ability to carry out the terms of the contract. Drawings and the Project Manual will be available at the office Bonnett Associates Incorporated, 220 Baldwin Tower, 1510 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA, 19022, 610-447-1200 on June 1, 2012 and may be obtained by prospective contractors upon a nonrefundable fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) in the form of a check or money order payable to the Southeast Delco School District. All Bids must be sealed and plainly marked on the lower left corner of the envelope "BOILER REPLACEMENT AT THE SHARON HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" and the name of the Contract and Contract number. Bids shall be addressed to: Ms. Vanessa Scott, Business Manager, Southeast Delco School District, Educational Service Center, 1560 Delmar Drive, Folcroft, PA, 19032. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of Sixty (60) days after the opening of the bids. Any bid not in accordance with these requirements may be rejected. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 @ 3:30 PM. Prospective Bidders shall meet at the Main Office of the Sharon Hill Elementary School. BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM BIDDERS WHO HAVE NOT INSPECTED THE SITE. The Drawings generally indicate the location of all work described in Technical Specifications. The Bidder prior to submitting a bid, shall visit the site to determine exact quantities of materials and labor and assess all existing conditions which will affect performance of the contract.
