Sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Union, Union County, New Jersey for the HALL STADIUM LIGHTING and opened and read in public at the Township of Union Municipal Building, 1976 Morris Avenue, Union, New Jersey on March 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM prevailing time. Contract Documents and Plans for the proposed work, prepared by Philip A. Haderer, P.E. Township Union Engineer, of the firm of T&M Associates Consulting and Municipal Engineers, Eleven Tindall Road, Middletown, New Jersey 07748, are on file in the office of the Engineer and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours. Contract Documents will be available for sale at both the office of the Engineer and at the Township of Union, 1976 Morris Ave. Union, NJ 07083 Attn: Purchasing Agent. Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the contract documents and plans by the Engineer upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) payable to T&M Associates to defray the cost thereof. Proposals must be made on the Standard Proposal Forms in a manner designated in the contract documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the work on the outside, addressed to the Township of Union, Municipal Building, 1976 Morris Avenue, Union, New Jersey 07083 and must be accompanied by all items identified in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to, a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and a bid guarantee (Proposal Security) for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid except that the guarantee need not exceed $20,000.00.** Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. And N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidders are also required to comply with other provisions of Law including, but not limited to, the requirements of: N.J.S.A.52:25-24.2 (P.L.1977,c.33,Disclosure of Ownership) N.J.S.A.52:32-44 (P.L.2004, c. 57, Business Registration) N.J.S.A.34.11-56.25, et seq.
