Sealed bids for HVAC Controls for the City/School Common Energy Plant Retrofit, 434 North
Mt. Rushmore Road, Rapid City, South Dakota, will be received by Mike Kenton, Director of Support Services for the Rapid
City Area School District NO. 51-4, CSAC Building, 300 Sixth Street, Rapid City, South Dakota. A mandatory pre-bid
meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m., local time, at Central High School Theater, 433 North Mount
Rushmore Road, Rapid City, SD. Please park at the Common Energy Plant, 434 North Mount Rushmore Road.
For purposes of this Project, the term Owner shall imply the entity identified as the Rapid City Area School District #51-4,
even though this is a joint operation between the City of Rapid City and the Rapid City Area Schools.
Bids are to arrive at the Support Services Office no later than 2:00 PM, Mountain Time, Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
BID OPENING: Bids will be opened and publicly read shortly after 2:00 PM at said date in the First Floor Community Room
