Lighting Fixture Fabrication & Delivery for the Westfield Train Station NJ TRANSIT intends to purchase new light poles, fixtures, and replacement under-canopy fixtures for the Westfield NJ Train Station. NJ TRANSIT crews will be responsible for installation. An award, if any, will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The delivery period shall be four (4) months from issuance of a Purchase Order. To be eligible for an Award, the Bidder must meet all the criteria set forth in the attached Scope of Work All firms submitting bids for this project must be prequalified and have related experience of a similar magnitude. NJ TRANSIT is requesting bids from firms with the intention of awarding a contract to the organization whose qualifications and bid best serves the needs of NJ TRANSIT. This project is subject to the provisions of the Division of Revenue Business Registration Certification Act (P.L. 2004, c.57). Contractors or Subcontractor's shall not engage in the performance of any work, unless the Contractor or Subcontractor is registered with the Department of Treasury Division of Revenue. This project is also subject to Executive Order 134 (P.L. 2005, c.51) concerning political contributions. In addition, the successful proposer will be required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations. NJ TRANSIT further requires that its contractors agree to take all necessary and responsible steps in accordance with N.J.A.C. 12A:10A-1.1 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:14-1.1 et seq. to ensure Small Business Enterprises (SBE) have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract.
