Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by Egg Harbor Township Board of Education, 13 Swift Drive, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 for: GYMNASIUM AIR-CONDITIONING RENOVATIONS AT EGG HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP for the EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION 13 SWIFT DRIVE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP NEW JERSEY 08234 In accordance with Drawings and Project Manuals, Commission No. 11K064 , dated January 22, 2012 together with all work incidental thereto as prepared by the SPIEZLE ARCHITECTURAL GROUP, INC., 120 Sanhican Drive, Trenton, New Jersey, 08618. Sealed bids for the above will be received as a Single Lump Sum Bid by the Egg Harbor Township Board of Education, Business Administrator at the Board of Education Offices located at 13 Swift Drive, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 at 2:00 P.M. (Prevailing Time) on February 15, 2012. Bids will be publicly opened and read to the public immediately thereafter in the School District's Conference Room. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, may award the Contract in whole or in part, select any combination of bids and alternates, and may waive any informality in the bidding process in accor-dance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Owner. The Contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Owner. Drawings and Project Manuals will be available at the Architect's Office and will be loaned to Bidders upon deposit of fifty ($50.00) Dollars and can be obtained at the office of the Architect. A non-refundable cost of twenty ($20.00) Dollars per set will be charged for mailing and handling Contract Documents to Contractors if requested. A handling charge of fifteen ($15.00) Dollars per set will be charged for sending Contract Documents via Federal Express as prearranged and paid for by the Bidder. Checks shall be made payable to the "Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc.". Any Bidders should contact the Architect's Office at (609) 695-7400 to confirm details of availability of Contract Drawings, Specifica-tions and other Contract Documents. All questions pertaining to the contract documents, technical sections, legal documents, and bid submis-sion shall be directed in writing, no later than February 10, 2012 to Mr. Scott Downie, Principal at Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc.: fax: (609) 394-2274; email: sdownie@spiezle.com. Please Note: Deposits will only be refunded if the bidding documents are returned in whole, bound, and in good condition and, (1) they are returned ten (10) days prior to the bid due date, or (2) returned within ten (10) after the opening of bids, by a Bidder submitting a bona fide bid. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms provided in the manner designated, and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids shall be marked in a sealed envelope with the name of the project plainly marked on the front of the envelope and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Per-cent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000. A pre-bid conference will take place at the Egg Harbor Township High School Egg Harbor Town-ship (site location) on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 2:00pm for the purpose of considering ques-tions posed by the Bidders at the project site.
