The U.S. Department of Energy, as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) has granted funds to
Union County, North Carolina, for energy retrofit work to be preformed at several county-owned facilities in Union County,
NC. Increased energy efficiency, reduced energy consumption and reduced energy costs through efficiency
improvements in building is a high priority in this project in addition to job creation and increased productivity to spur
