Software Development Energy Efficiency Programs in Connecticut The Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P) and Yankee Gas (the Companies), as administrators of the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (the Fund), are soliciting proposals from qualified Software Developers to provide a Home Energy Solutions Mobile Assessment Application and Customer Analysis Tool. Home Energy Solutions is a residential energy efficiency program that focuses on providing cost-effective in-home services and retail product incentives that allow Connecticuts households to save energy and money without sacrificing comfort. It is envisioned that the Customer Analysis Tool will allow residential customers to access their individual energy usage information, see the energy efficiency benefits of the in-home services provided, and tailor their choices of home improvements to optimize their estimated savings and costs after incentives. It is also envisioned that the Mobile Assessment Application will replace the Field Service Tool currently used by Home Energy Solutions vendors. This product is required to exchange data between the Companies current database systems to optimize the initial Home Energy Solutions visit. To be included for participation in the RFP process, suppliers must respond to this notice by sending an email to the representative listed below before February 3, 2012 at 5:00 pm.
