Notice is hereby given that the County of Glenn will receive sealed bids for the
Installation of 2 HVAC Units at Jane Hahn Juvenile Hall and 2 HVAC Units at the
Orland Administration Building. Only contractors that possess a C-20 license will
be considered.
Bid Documents are on file in the office of John F. Linhart, Glenn County Planning &
Public Works Agency Director, and may be obtained by contacting Annette Chavez,
CBO, Deputy Director, Planning & Public Works Agency, 777 N. Colusa Street,
Willows, CA 95988; (530) 934-6546, FAX (530) 934-6533.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 306 N. Villa Avenue, Willows, CA
95988 and 821 East South Street, Orland, CA 95963at 9:00 am, Wednesday,
February 8, 2012. Attendance is a one-time, mandatory requirement for all
prospective bidders. Failure to attend will be cause for rejection of a bid.
Sealed bids for this work shall be filed with the Glenn County Planning & Public
Works Agency, 777 N. Colusa Street, Willows, California 95988, on or before
3:00 pm, Friday, February 17. 2012. The outside of the envelope in which the bid
is submitted, shall be marked "Installation of 2 HVAC Units at Jane Hahn Juvenile
Hall and 2 HVAC Units at the Orland Administration Building”. Bids will be
opened and read aloud in public immediately following the closing date Friday,
February 17, 2012 at 3:05 p.m.
The County will comply with federal, state, and local procedures for procuring
property, obtaining consulting services, and awarding contracts for any acquisition,
construction, or renovation project using Capital Facilities Funds, including but not
limited to, prevailing wages and other items.
The County of Glenn reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any
irregularity in any bid received. Bidders are responsible for demonstrating
