NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent, for the Monroe Township Utility Department (M.T.U.D.), County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as shown below, in the upstairs conference room, at 143 Union Valley Road, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, at which time the bids will be opened and read in public for: CONTRACT: 395,"LIGHTING AND VENTILATION AT P.S. #1" OPENING DATE: FEBRUARY 7, 2012 OPENING TIME: 11:00 AM PREVAILING TIME Specifications and other bid information may be obtained at the MONROE TOWNSHIP UTILITY DEPARTMENT during regular business hours 8AM - 4:30PM, or by calling the M.T.U.D. Purchasing Agent at 609-655-1050 ext. 2216. This contract generally consists of replacement of the lighting, ductwork, fans, and carbon filtration system systems in the wet well in accordance with the plans and specification. Cost of each bid package is $75.00 (non-refundable). Each bidder must deposit bid security of (10%) ten percent of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond, but not to exceed $20,000.00, payable to the Monroe Township Utility Department or MTUD. The M.T.U.D. reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality, or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, best serves its interest. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
