The City of Boston acting through the Mayor’s Office of Environmental and Energy Services at One City Hall Plaza, Room 603, Boston, MA, 02201, seeks proposals from an applicant to deliver no-cost energy efficiency services for existing Renew Boston customers that are already under contract to receive qualified Mass-Save insulation and air sealing services. We invite Mass-Save approved vendors that can complete insulation and air sealing for the qualified households using energy assessment and customer information provided by Next Step Living, a Mass-Save Home Performance Contractor. Copies of the Request for Proposals (RFP) containing proposal requirements, selection criteria, and other relevant information will be available at the City of Boston’s Office of Environmental and Energy Services, Room 603, Boston City Hall, Boston, Massachusetts on and after July 2, 2012, and can be requested via e-mail Jacob Glickel The City of Boston is allocating $300,000 for Mass-Save approved vendors. Environmental and Energy Services will coordinate the review of all proposals, selection of a recipient, all scope of work activities and requisitioning of funds for payment. To apply, project proposal submissions must include a technical proposal and a separately sealed price proposal. All project proposals must be received at the City of Boston Office on Environmental and Energy Services, Room 603, Boston City Hall, Boston, Massachusetts on or before 4:00 PM on July 16, 2012. EES reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part. Project proposals may also be accepted, subject to a counter-offer on the price proposal.
