The purpose of this Industry Event is to provide Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) and Utility Providers the opportunity to furnish feedback to senior Air Force leaders on their efforts to assist the AF with meeting mandated energy conservation goals. The Industry Event will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Tyndall AFB Horizons Community Activity Center, building 1550, Tyndall AFB, FL. The event will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in Ballroom A. The Honorable Terry A. Yonkers, the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment & Logistics will provide kick-off remarks followed by Mr Timothy Unruh, Program Manager for DoE's Federal Energy Management Program. The Air Force will then present an overview of their ESPC and UESC programs. The majority of the afternoon will be reserved for the ESCOs and Utility Providers to provide feedback and suggestions on how the Air Force might improve and expedite the ESPC and UESC processes, break logjams and increase the number of AF opportunities. Due to the planned forum and venue, the Air Force requests that only one attendee from each firm plan to attend, if possible, but no more than two.

Energy Project RFP Alert - US NJ - West New York Board Of Education Bid - Boiler Replacement At Public School #6

The Bidding Documents have been prepared by RSC Architects with an office at 596 Anderson Avenue Suite 202, Cliffside Park, NJ, 07010, telephone number (201) 941-3040. Bidding documents may be obtained directly from RSC Architects for a charge of $60. Only Certified Checks, Money Orders and cash will be accepted. Certified Checks and Money Orders should be made payable to West New York Board of Education. Drawings and Specifications shall be available for inspection at the West New York Board of Education office from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on November 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the West New York Board of Education Conference Room, located at 6028 Broadway, West New York, NJ 07093. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and hand delivered, sent UPS or Federal Express or similar courier service to the West New York Board of Education at 6028 Broadway, West New York, NJ 07093-2808, with the name of the project, "Boiler Replacement at Public School #6 Bid", plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act as to the Bidder and all subcontractors. Pursuant to P.L. 2004 c.57, all bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must include with its bid its own Business Registration Certificate and that of all subcontractors. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. Bids must be submitted to the West New York Board of Education no later than 2:00 PM on November 14, 2012. All bids will be opened and read to the public at that time by the School Business Administrator at the board offices. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids. The West New York Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements.
